I like the idea that it acts as a CDN and protection layer, speeding up sites and blocking attacks before they hit your server. I saw that they even have a free plan, which already includes CDN and basic protection, and paid plans starting around $20/month for more advanced features . In real usage, does Cloudflare stay cheap or do costs grow once you start using more features?

I’m not using Cloudflare deeply yet, just experimenting with it on a test site. From what I see, it’s one of those tools that scales with your project — you can start completely free and only pay when you actually need more control or performance. I’m still figuring out if I’ll need the paid features or if the free setup is enough for what I’m building right now.
