This tool is absolutely brilliant! I tutor math here in NY, and I’ve found that the linear abacus is amazing for older students too, not just the little ones learning basic addition.

For our applied math lessons, I always try to show my students how numbers work in the real world. We actually pull up the live market feeds on https://roboforex.com/ to look at complex decimals and percentage changes, and then I have the students physically represent those data shifts on the abacus. Being able to physically move the beads to match the digital charts makes abstract economics instantly tangible for them. It truly bridges the gap between theory and real life!

Has anyone else tried using it for advanced topics like fractions or data visualization?
